I have been asked to make a YouTube channel for my project, here I will go through how to make a YouTuber channel how we can upload videos and many other stuff.
what is a youtube channel?
A YouTube channel is made by using a google Gmail and everyone can have more than one YouTube channel if they want to. Some people make their YouTube channel account so they can watch others youtubers videos through their YouTube channel and subscribe to them, get a notification whenever that youtuber posts a video on his channel and others make their YouTube channels to upload videos and get views, the more views they get the more audience they will attract to their content and more subscribers they will gain by doing all this they have opportunity to make good amount of money through posting videos on YouTube if they have good amount of views .
Making a YouTube channel is not hard, first thing you have to do is to create a Gmail account and fill in all the information about yourself and you have 5to give in a recovery Gmail in case you lose your account also your YouTube account name can be different than your Gmail account name.
Logo
A logo for your YouTube channel is not necessary but to take your branding of your YouTube channel to the next level a logo has a log of benefits that will help your channel to stand out and attract more audience. a logo I more like a picture that you have made yourself for your YouTube channel and it has to be something that is reacted to your content that you post on your YouTube or you can just put anything as you want to. I am gonna show you few logos of youtubers as an example:
This is Iferg and he is a youtuber that does gaming on his channel the most games that are on his channel are Call Of Duty Mobile, Apex Legends and Pubg Mobile which are all action games most likely multiplayer games that you can play online with other player.
As you can see his logo has a picture of himself doing a sign with his hand which most likely means what’s up and he also has some graffiti lighting on his logo for his YouTube channel, he also has some black strings at the back that is added to other colours and it stands out, his background is mostly white and cyan which is light blue.
All this makes his logo stand out and it represents us him and some colours and lighting on the back in his videos most of them is him on the thumbnails and in the videos he has a camera that shows how is he playing as well so that might be the reason why he got his profile picture of himself as his logo.
what is a banner?
A banner is a large image that goes on top of your YouTube channel page, its most likely used to visualise communicate a channels brand and personality lot of youtubers have their own YouTube channels banners that represent different type of stuff sometimes is not even related to their YouTube channel content or anything that they do is just normal and all black or simple colour, I will show you an example of a banner for a YouTube channel:
This is the banner of the youtuber iferg as you can see in his banner he has his picture and the same background as his logo but he also has a text in big and white which says ferg which is his YouTube name that he is known for the I and the letter F are both joined together and his using a stylish design for his writing which makes the banner stand out he also has in black on the bottom some writing that represent us his name of his twitter, discord and Instagram with logos as well which shows us that he wants his audience to follow him on his other accounts, on other apps as well including YouTube. On his right side he has two axes which are in white with some red background and they probably represent gaming which is related to him, and below it he has his sponsorship which are Gfuel, Elgato etc…
what are overlays?
YouTube overlays are some nifty grey boxes that show up on a video like an add only and they are created by the same person who posted the video. An overlay can be used as an ad kind of to give the viewers an option by clicking for more information elsewhere on the web.
what is a thumbnail?
A thumbnail is a quick snapshot of your video as they are browsing YouTube. After your videos is finished uploading YouTube gives you three options for a thumbnail for your video or if your account is verified you can put your own thumbnail and customise it and put it on for your video. I am going to show you some examples of some thumbnails:
These are some of thumbnails of iferg as you can see in most of them he used the writing in big and yellow and on top so its easier to read and the yellow stands out more and is the colour that is more visible to the humans, in most of his thumbnails its himself masking a funny face or exited face while holding a mobile which represents to me mobile gaming.
What are other brandings?
In my opinion the most fundamental branding for a YouTube channel is your logo because in that way your audience will be abler to spot your picture and click on your channel and discover what you post on and they will be able to watch and see you while they scroll through YouTube and they will be able to spot your logo so in chat way it will attract more audience that are interested in your content.
my project
For my project I am going to be doing mobile gaming for my YouTube channel and I will do that because I play mobile games and I really enjoy them. the game that I will be using for my project is Call of duty mobile and it is an extraordinary mobile shooting game.
Call of duty Mobile is a free to play shooter game which is developed by TiMi Studio Group and it was published by activisior for android and IOS which is apple phones. it was released on October 1,2019, where it become one of of the largest mobile games that were launched in history, they generated a total amount of around $480 million with more than 100 million download within a year.
Gameplay
Players can choose two type of different modes ranked and non ranked for multiplayer mode. It has two types of currencies in the game one that you earn while playing the game and you can unlock stuff in the game and the other is real life money that you pay in the game to get the battle pass or to get exclusive skins, guns which look much better on it but you can play the game without paying any money. you also have access to do private match games in battle royal and multiplayer where you can play with your game friends.
Multiplayer
The multiplayer mode is a first person shooter mode which is similar to other call of duty games that are available on pcs and play station/Xbox. The game also has score streaks which are available once you get a high kills without dying or by getting a good amount of points which will allow you to use them but once you get 20 kills in a row you get a nuke bomb which allows you to kill the full enemy team by just pressing a button to activate it, there are other featured modes that you can play which make the multiplayer side of game even more fun these include: prop hunt, snipers only, gun game, attack of the undead among us , capture the flags and many others that get launched every season for couple of weeks.
battle royal
The game also includes battle royal mode which features 100 players. A player can choose to play alone or play in a duo or squad which is up to 4 people per team the mode even has FPP and TPP which are first person mode and third person mode as well. When you get in the game you have a jump leader that will decide where to jump you can also request to be the jump leader and the choice comes up in the one that is already to give it to you or not. the game on the map has in orange the names of the places that have higher tier loot but there is always a good amount of players landing there. they also have the safe zone circle every 2 minutes the first safe zone doesn’t take your health a lot but once the second and third safe zone hit you, your health will go down very quick but you have to stay in the safe zone circle in case to survive if you are out for too long you will die. the game also has few modes which are battle royal Alcatraz battle royal blackout, battle royal 20v20 warfare and battle royal blitz.
zombies
A zombie mode was added to the game in November 2019. it was placed teams of players against zombies that attacked in waves each wave was going from level easy to medium to hard.
The game mode was removed from the game in march 2020 due to it not reaching the desired level of quality. undead siege is a mode that was added to the game last year in 2021 august. in it team of four players who loot during the day time to get as much supplies they need and during the night they have to fight zombies, dog zombies and other dangerous enemies that don’t die very easily the object of winning the zombie mode is to protect the teleportation device from the zombie though every wave and the boss level wave as well so they get the victory which also gives the team gun skins and other amazing supplies that they can use for battle royal and multiplayer modes.

Call Of Duty Mobile 2020 tournament was organised for Esport which included 1$ million prize in the game and in real life time everybody around the world who had this game had their opportunity to qualify in the tournament by playing it and going against other teams and the only player that are allowed to play are those that have their rank higher than veteran. the 2021 tournament that was featured a $2 million prize pool.

These are 3 youtubers that make videos about the same game that i will be doing and they all 3 represent different things to the gaming community they all 3 have different content Miney is a sniper player one of the best and most of his videos are about sniping, iFerg plays around and tries to do different challenges that no other youtuber has done it yet and bobby is more like spectating and supporting the players in the game and showing what new stuff is coming out in the game
COMPARISON
For my secondary research I will go through 2 youtubers and talk about their channel logo and banner and how will that be beneficial to me.
Parker the slayer is a call of duty mobile player who just plays battle royal on his channel. his logo has a big white bold font to make the three later stand out and see clearly it say in big PTS which stands for Parker The Slayer which is his YouTube channel name , his background is black with some white lighting on the back he also has a little pieces of yellow coloured on the bottom which makes his logo more visible.
This is his banner, his background is a picture of a game character which has his name as ghost and is in blue and visible so it can be seen and it also shows shooting and others holding guns out and aiming which clearly tell you that is a shooting and action gaming channel. He has his full name in yellow and big so it can be seen more easily because in the humans eyes the yellow is the most visible one and he also has box below in yellow and writing in black that says clips this suggest he has small clips of him playing. Below, there is some small writing in white that is trying to make us understand that he has a separate channel for his lives and if we have to watch him playing live we have to go to that channel and see him live on phone or computer while he plays.
This is Bobby Plays he is another Call of Duty mobile youtuber on his channel he plays multiplayer and spectates other best players in the game and supports them which gives other small streamers opportunity to get somewhere in life through the game. his logo has a picture of himself holding a mobile phone and with a headset around his head while he looks serious when he is playing. Background there is a gaming chair and there is a PC on the side and it looks like there is some editing or live stream going on.
This is his banner, as you can see see he has a black background as well with some yellow lines in the back and some splashes of paint as well he has 2 nuke signs on each side left and right and they are in yellow as well, he has his name in a big font in yellow as well he is using some bold text which makes his name stand out.
On the right side he has his social media logos such as twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Amazon and TikTok, he also has his sponsor down bellow as well which is Gfuel and its an energy drink that has sugar in it and it supposed to be 100% clean and natural drink.
These information will help me a lot to make my own logo and banner so I will know which colours to use which will attract more audience when they will see a certain logo on their YouTube while scrolling through and the banner will also benefit me I have learned how to make a good banner and add more links to it to make it look better and to stand it out.
The banner and logos ideas of these two youtubers will help me a lot to make my own YouTube channel banner and logo because they have good background and logos which already has given me an idea how to make my own and also the content that bobby post I will be posting something similar to it.

A copyright is a type of intellectual property that gives its owner the exclusive right to copy and distribute a creative work, usually for a limited time. The creative work may be in a literary, artistic, educational, or musical form. Copyright also means using another youtubers music that is included with copyright because its a music that someone else is using and if you use it for your YouTube channel videos that can claim copyright and they will get money out of your pocket for themselves.
There are music out there on YouTube that will not claim copyright such as NCS which is a guy that makes beats and music and he officially said anybody can use his music and there will be no copyright claimed.
Primary research
I have showed my family and friends my project and my YouTube channel and I have received some awesome feedback from them and they told me to keep it up and keep doing well on it.
My friends told me to add my own customized thumbnail and put my picture on it as well so when the audience sees my video on their YouTube they will also see the impression that I made with the fonts on the thumbnail and the colours used and they will get attract to, I will do these followings and will apply them in my future projects.
